Chris A. N. Moryto
Chris’ practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, employment law and family law. Chris has successfully represented clients before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Registrar in Bankruptcy and the Small Claims Court. Chris is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution processes, including arbitration, mediation and collaborative law. Prior to joining Viner Kennedy, Chris practiced law as a general litigator in the Greater Toronto Area.
Chris obtained his law degree from The University of Western Ontario where he received the Osler, Hoskin, Harcourt LLP award for highest standing in corporate finance law. While at Western, Chris volunteered at the Western Business Law Clinic and completed exchange programs in the Masters of Comparative Business Law program at the University of Mannheim in Germany and at Duke University’s Asia-America Institute in Transnational Law in Hong Kong. Chris is also a graduate of the commerce program at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys playing hockey, traveling and reading about finance.
